Some NPCs will be able to interact with your character.
A few NPC's will be able to provide you with hunting partners. If an NPC has a list of other NPCs they can hire to your character, the hire option will appear when you left click on an NPC.
Left click on the hire option in the NPC's menu to open the hire screen.
